Single Pose Workshop
Single Pose Workshop
4 & 5 December (Sun & Mon).
10am - 3pm
The Clubhouse, Boham's Road, Blewbury OX11 9HF
Drawing materials provided, paper sold at cost. Feel free to bring your own too. More details below.
Drawing is a means of communicating your ideas and sharing your observations. Whether you are a professional artist or a beginner, life drawing is like exercise for your eyes, and everyone can benefit from it.
My popular Single Pose Workshop but with fewer students giving you more opportunity for individual feedback, tailored drawing exercises, and space for large canvases and to move around the room if you want to.
A wonderful opportunity to really slow down, get stuck in, and evolve, or revisit, one drawing (or painting) over two days, or to have a go at several. Each day begins with some quick loosening up exercises, then we go straight into the pose, which you can tackle in whatever way you please, with the option to experiment with the many materials available.
Drawing materials are provided and paper is sold at cost, but feel free to bring paints, or a canvas if you’d like. You can book for one or both days. We will break for tea and biscuits throughout the day and for lunch. Please bring lunch, or alternatively Savages Farm Shop and Cafe is just across the road.

So you are free to experiment I provide basic materials for you to help yourself to. Including charcoal, conté, pastels, ink, wash, white paint, pencils, rubbers, brushes and so on.
